What factors will affect the quality of lubricating oil blending? There are many factors affecting the blending quality of lubricating oil. The blending efficiency of blending equipment and the quality of blending components directly affect the quality of blended lubricating oil. This paper mainly analyzes the influence of process and operation factors on the quality of blended lubricating oil.
1. Accurate measurement of components
It is very important to measure accurately whether it is gap or continuous. Accurate measurement is the guarantee of correct proportion of each component when feeding. Accurate measurement of component flow is very important for continuous blending. Inaccurate flow measurement will lead to imbalance of component proportion, and then affect the quality of blending products.
2. Water content in components
The water content in the components will directly affect the turbidity of blended products and the appearance of lubricating oil, and sometimes cause the hydrolysis of some additives, which will reduce the use effect of additives. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent moisture from mixing into the components.
3. Air in components
It is inevitable to mix air in the component neutralization system, which is also very harmful to the blending. The existence of air may not only promote the reaction of additives and the deterioration of oil products, but also lead to inaccurate measurement of components due to the existence of bubbles, which will affect the correct proportion of components.
4. Temperature of harmonic components
In order to select a suitable blending temperature, too high temperature may cause oxidation or thermal deterioration of lubricating oil and additives, and low temperature will make the flow performance of components worse, which will affect the effect. Generally, 55-65 ℃ is suitable.
5. Dilution of additives
Some additives are very viscous. Before use, they must be melted and diluted to form additive mother liquor of appropriate concentration. Otherwise, it may affect the uniformity of blending and the accuracy of measurement. However, too much diluent should not be added into the mother liquor of additive to avoid affecting the product quality of lubricating oil.
6. Cleanliness of blending system
The solid impurities, base oil and additives of non blending components in blending system are all pollution to the system, which may cause unqualified quality of blending products. Therefore, the lubricating oil blending system should be kept clean. From the economic point of view, it is very unlikely that a system can transfer only one product. Therefore, it is inevitable to pollute the system by non harmonic components. In actual production, on the one hand, pollutants should be cleaned up as much as possible, on the other hand, oil with similar quality and varieties should be mixed in a system to ensure the quality of blended products.
7. Mixing time
The mixing time should be reasonably determined according to the size of the blending kettle, the amount of blending materials, heating temperature and mixing mode. If the mixing time is too short, the mixing is not even enough; if the half time is too long, the energy consumption is large.
